Synopsis :
The series centers on Goo Jae Hee, a Korean girl who lives in the United States. One day, she sees a track and field competition on TV, and becomes attracted to one of the high jump competitors, Kang Tae Joon. She begins to idolize the young athlete and eventually transfers to Korea to attend the same school that Tae Joon attends after he suffers an accident that could potentially end his career. There is a catch, however: Tae Joon attends an all-boys high school and Jae Hee must disguise herself as a boy to enter.

Note :

• The drama is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" (花ざかりの君たちへ) by Hisaya Nakajo. The literal translation is "For You in Full Blossom". The manga is also known as Hana Kimi, which was published by Hakusensha from 1996 to 2004.
• This Korean series is the fourth television drama adaptation of the manga following the Taiwanese Hanazakari no Kimitachi e in 2006, the Japanese Hanazakari no Kimitachi e in 2007 and its remake in 2011.
• SM Entertainment as drama production revealed on March 10, 2011 that they signed a contract that gave them the publication rights for its drama production and the drama planned to begin airing in summer 2011, but due to several problems with the casting of the lead actors and other supporting roles, production of the drama has been delayed.

Cerita :  tidak masuk akal sih cerita ini ... tapi karena adaptasi dari komik, jadi sah-sah saja. Dan drama ini ringan.  Saya nonton drama ini karena sudah pernah nonton versi dorama Jepangnya, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e alias Ikemen Paradise (= Firdaus cowo ganteng).  Jadi cenderungnya membandingkan yg Korea vs Jepang.  Yg versi Jepang lebih terasa sekolahnya ... bener2 anak SMA dan banyak cowo gantengnya, bertaburan bintang, banyak aktivitas/kegiatan sekolah dan tiap2 karakter utama dan supporting kelihatan perannya, jadi kesannya seru dan rame.  Yg versi Korea ini lebih drama dan terkesan kering, sekolahnya tidak seru, tidak rame, kering ... tidak digambarkan bahwa sekolah Genie itu firdaus cowo ganteng.  Yg diceritakan cuma uplek-uplekan Tae Joon, Eun Gyul, Seung Ri, Min Hyun, dan tentu saja Jae Hee.  So menurut saya, lebih seru yg versi Jepang.

Cast : pemainnya masih pada pemula ... penyanyi boyband dan girlband yg dipaksa akting, jadi masih pada kaku.  Nonton drama ini jadi terasa ada yg kurang, hampa, tak berjiwa .... penonton kecewa.  Romance kurang mengena, kaku ...

Saat Tae Joon ikut perlombaan, Jae Hee pingsan karena mengikat kemben terlalu kuat hingga sesak nafas.  Teman-temannya yg memberi pertolongan pertama jadi tahu bahwa Jae Hee adalah perempuan yg nyamar jadi laki-laki.  Eun Gyul berupaya mempertahankan supaya Jae Hee tetap di situ tapi tak mungkin lah ...  Jae Hee sesuai rencana kembali ke USA. Sesaat sebelum Tae Joon berlomba, Eun Gyul menelpon Tae Joon menceritakan segalanya.  Di bis Jae melihat ipad ibu-ibu yg duduk di sebelahnya dan ternyata Tae Joon berhasil mencetak rekor 2.31 meter.  Setahun berlalu, Jae Hee tinggal di California dan Tae Joon berkunjung untuk berlibur.
